Cash, points or a certificate?

A member rate or points redemption may suit you better. Points and certificate reservations normally need to be made through the hotel’s own loyalty programme.
Is a free-night offer worthwhile?
I check qualifying dates, room categories and minimum stays, then compare the total stay price with other suitable rates.
I’ll establish how the saving is applied and whether preferred benefits and loyalty recognition are included, alongside the payment and cancellation conditions.

Will I earn points and qualifying nights?
Yes. Qualifying preferred rates earn hotel points and qualifying nights, with recognition of your elite status.
Will preferred benefits combine with my elite status?
Preferred benefits complement your elite status. A hotel credit, for example, can add value alongside status breakfast. Upgrades don’t automatically stack.
Are preferred rates always cheaper than booking direct?
Not always. I compare preferred, standard and member rates on the full stay cost, benefits and cancellation terms. I’ll recommend the option that makes most sense.
What can I use a hotel credit for?
Dining, spa treatments or other spending at the hotel, as specified in your rate. The credit is usually per room, per stay—not per night.
Can you check a booking I’ve already made?
Yes. Share your hotel, dates and booked rate. I’ll compare alternatives and explain whether to amend or rebook. Preferred benefits can’t always be added to an existing reservation.
Can I change or cancel through the hotel app?
For changes or cancellations, contact me. Your booking may appear in the hotel app, but amendments sometimes need to go through the original booking channel.
Is there a booking fee—and how are you paid?
There’s no fee for my hotel booking service. I receive a share of the hotel commission paid through Fora. More extensive research or travel planning may involve a fee, agreed before I start.
